I am an artist, carpenter, and educator. I see ‘home’ and home-making as the throughline amongst these practices. My art focuses on softness in the face of rough circumstances & people having access to their basic needs being met. This begins with shelter; it begins with home.
As a carpenter and tradesperson, I learned the details of making homes and the built environment around us. As an educator, I remain passionate about building relationships for lasting communities. I see homemaking and community building as intrinsic to my work and who I am. My skills are to be shared, taught, and leveraged for community sustainability.
